Intelligent systems help power companies be more efficient

Santo Domingo.- Intelligent systems capable of automatically notifying the electricity distribution company when a customer has a breakdown in their home and alerting when someone is trying to steal energy are some of the technologies that have been implemented in the electricity sector.

More and more companies are adopting efficient methods with less environmental impact to contribute to energy efficiency in the country, as evidenced during a forum organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmchamDR).

Representatives of the Punta Cana-Macao Energy Consortium (CEPM), the Haina Electricity Generating Company (EGE Haina), San Pedro Bio Energy, Energy and others highlighted the progress they have accomplished.
