US envoy to speak investment at American Chamber of Commerce

Santo Domingo.- US ambassador, Robin Bernstein, will be the guest speaker at the monthly luncheon of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) in November when she will speak on the “Opportunities and challenges for increased foreign investment.”

This is the second time that Bernstein participates as guest speaker at the AMCHAMDR event; the first time was Thanksgiving 2018 when she spoke on the topic: “We are United: Moving Together towards Prosperity.”

Bernstein was named Ambassador of the United States in the Dominican Republic by president Donald Trump, and sworn in on July 3, 2018.

Since arriving in the country Bernstein has played a key role in strengthening relations between the two nations and had a very active role in defending the Dominican Republic as a safe tourism destination in international media.
