Vincho: PLD would seek to destabilize the country
Marino Vinicio Castillo (Vincho), president of the National Progressive Force, has warned of signs indicating a dangerous plan to disrupt and destabilize national peace in the Dominican Republic, which is allegedly being developed and promoted by members of the high leadership of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD). He also accused PLD members of financing violent groups to obtain impunity for those involved in corruption cases. Castillo stressed that those who threaten public peace and try to bring the country into chaos will face him and his party.
He called on other opposition parties to assume a responsible role in the face of public threats from the PLD and isolate any political sector that dares to threaten national peace. Castillo defended the work of the Public Ministry, led by magistrate Miriam Germán and Yeni Berenice Reynoso, and described offenses and discrediting the representatives of the accusing body as an act of supreme cowardice.
He also indicated that PLD leaders have the right to file a complaint, but they will also be sentenced for the case that is being filed against them.
It is not hard to imagine there are foreign interests who have sent moles into the country to inflame the tinder of domestic disruption and destabilization for their own geopolitical gain.
The PLD has a right to protest but not in a violent manner that dissolves the peace and order of the country.
It is noteworthy that Vincho has a history with some conflicts of his own.
