Dominican driver Jimmy Llibre wins at Road Atlanta circuit

Georgia, USA.- Dominican driver Jimmy Llibre secured victory at the legendary Road Atlanta circuit, competing in the prestigious Historic Sports Car Racing (HSR) series. Alongside teammate Ed Wheatley, he drove a Porsche 991.2 GT3 R to win the Classic 10H / Atlanta Historics event, showcasing Dominican talent on the global motorsport stage.

Llibre described the triumph as a meaningful milestone in his career and valuable preparation for his upcoming participation in the Porsche Carrera Cup America. He also announced that he will make his debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona in November, one of the world’s most iconic endurance races.

The young racer thanked his sponsors, including Banreservas, Baldom, Arroz Campos, and the Ministry of Tourism, among others, reaffirming his commitment to continue proudly representing the Dominican Republic in international motorsports.
