The director of the National Police says they are working to make citizens feel confident and proud.

El Seibo, DR.The director of the National Police stated that the institution will continue to work towards becoming closer to Dominican society every day, ensuring that citizens feel more confident and proud of their role.

Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta stated that the Police are working “permanently and tirelessly” to protect the public, serve them, and guarantee the individual rights of every citizen.

At the inauguration of a new police station at the El Seibo exit toward Hato Mayor, Guzmán Peralta affirmed that the Government’s support is reflected in the construction of new police stations, the provision of vehicles, technology, and training, as well as the Government’s presence every Monday to inspect and supervise the entire country.

He added that President Luis Abinader leads this weekly monitoring session at the Police Palace to learn about the progress, the needs, and the responses the Police must provide to the public.

Before carrying out the symbolic ribbon cutting, the high-ranking official thanked God, President Luis Abinader, the Central Romana company, and Ángel De La Cruz for the modern station, which “all of us in Seiba are very satisfied with.”
