Dominican hoteliers to showcase 50 years of progre$$

PUNTA CANA, La Altagracia.- President Danilo Medina, tourism and environment officials and executives of Dominican Republic’s Hotel and Tourism Association –Asonahores- on Wed. inaugurated the 33^rd Annual  Commercial Exhibition, which showcases the sector’s progress in the past 50 years.

Asonahores president Paola Rainieri thanked Medina for opening the exhibition, labeling him an ally and supporter of commercial partners within the tourism industry.

“This growth and development has not been casual or improvised, our tourism industry has worked for more than 50 years in a continuous way and surmounting obstacles, to achieve the fastest and most striking change that is recorded in the economic history of our country.”
