Medina taps moguls for Competitiveness Council

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina appointed by executive order 389-17, the new members in the National Competitiveness Council (CNC), who will represent the private sector.

The CNC members are the moguls Pedro Brache, Fernando Capellán, José Miguel González, Manuel A. Grullón, Luis Molina Achécar, Frank Rainieri, Manuel E. Tavares and Felipe Vicini.

The appointments bring a series of changes that includes the creation of an Advisory Council formed by 28 members, the elimination of the Economy Ministry’s Competitiveness Management, as the CNC is an agency of the Ministry of the Presidency.

The executive order stipulates that the members of the CNC’s Advisory Council will be honorary, with no remuneration.

Miguel Barletta, Rafael Blanco. Igualmente, Roberto Bonetti, José Clase, Samuel Conde, José Luis Corripio, Manuel Díaz, Pedro Esteva, Manuel Estrella, Félix García, Carlos Guillermo León, Aquiles Hernández, Franklin León, Celso Marranzini, Carlos José Martí, Ramón Menéndez, Marcial Najri and Agripino Núñez.

Also Mercedes Ramos, Héctor Rizek, Samir Rizek, Gustavo Tavares, Juan Manuel Ureña, Bernardo Vega, Juan Vicini, Máximo Vidal, José Vitienes and Elena Viyella.
