Santo Domingo Metro Line 2B ready as early as August

Santo Domingo,- The Santo Domingo Metro n Thurs. announced  the start of service of line 2B, which links the National District with Santo Domingo Este, by no later than October.

It said that “all efforts” are being made to advance the Line’s operations and inaugurate it in August.

“We are in the process of final tests and the arrival of trains,” the Metro tweeted.

“It is expected that the operations of line 2B will begin between September and October. But all efforts are being made to move it forward and inaugurate in the month of August. We are in the process of final tests and the arrival of trains,” the Metro said.
