Medina: first Dominican leader to visit China

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo is set to travel to China early Wed., during which he will meet with Beijing counterpart Xi Jinping.

Medina is scheduled to arrive in Beijing to begin the historic visit, six months after the Dominican Republic established diplomatic relations with China.

During his stay, Medina will meet with Xi Jinping both leaders will witness the signing of more than 15 bilateral agreements by the officials of both countries in charge of the respective areas.
