Xi to distinguish Medina in China visit

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina will be the only one of the 18 leaders who will be on an official visit with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping during the Dominican head of state’s tour of the Asian country.

The Dominican head of state is expected to arrive in Beijing at 6:30pm to carry out a busy schedule including ribbon-cutting for Dominican Republic’s embassy.

Medina will attend a product fair in Shanghai where the 18 leaders will also attend.

A delegation of business leaders in tourism, free zones and other segments will accompany the president at the fair.
