Santo Domingo Beltway advances, to be finished ‘in November’

Santo Domingo.- Public Works minister, Gonzalo Castillo, on Friday supervised the works of section for the Santo Domingo Beltway’s second span, which will link Greater Santo Domingo with the country’s three major regions.

Castillo said the “important” route will be inaugurated in November, Public Works said in a statement.

“At the end of the work, more than 40,000 vehicles that enter the city every day can use this route to decongest traffic, especially heavy vehicles in the 27 de Febrero, Kennedy and George Washington avenues, which It will result in a positive environmental impact and fuel savings.”
