The Central Bank goes Digital
Santo Domingo.- The Central Bank recently presented to its staff the program “Digital transmission: Management of organizational culture” during a meeting headed by central banker, Héctor Valdez Albizu.
“It’s an important step forward for the Central Bank to strengthen its internal processes and make efficient the services offered to the population through the financial system,” he said.
In a statement, Valdez said the integration of new technologies in all areas of an institution serve to change the way they function. “The digital transformation is not only the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment, it’s first of all, a change of mentality, a proactive attitude to incorporate technological advances in our daily work.”
