Dominican Gov. touts renewable energy opportunities in China
Santo Domingo.- The Ministry Energy and Mines of the Dominican Republic participates in a forum in Chang Shá, China, where they discuss the opportunities of renewable energy, technologies for their development and technical cooperation in the transition towards the production of electricity with clean generation matrix.
In a statement the agency said the organizers asked minister Antonio Isa Conde to deliver the opening remarks.
Isa said the Dominican Government takes a strategic approach towards the change of sources to generate electricity with renewables.
“From the Government we have appreciated China’s effort of many years to promote and provide financial assistance for our environmental adaptation and sustainability projects,” said Isa, accompanied by Deputy Energy Minister, Ernesto Vilalta.
