Resort to hold first beer festival in Dominican Republic

Oktoberfest with Island Vibes” will be celebrated for the first time in the Dominican Republic.

The Caribbean version of the event will last nearly two months and will be held at the all-inclusive Margaritaville® Island Reserve Cap Cana resort from September 15 to October 29.

“We are thrilled to be able to share with you our own version of Oktoberfest, in calypsos and on one of the Caribbean’s world-famous coastlines, at a resort that defines the true meaning of luxury and relaxation,” said Frank Maduro, president of Premier Worldwide Marketing.

“Come for the beers and stay for the beach, the breeze and the sea. This is the ideal vacation to escape to a paradisiacal environment and enjoy a unique celebration at the same time.”

This first event, he said, includes exclusive offerings, among them a floating beer bar; Oktoberfest-inspired activations, such as a gingerbread and “pretzel” decorating activity; and endurance and singing contests. Attendees will enjoy a varied program of German dancers, tropical rock, and 80’s jam bands, among others.

In addition to the festivities, food and beverage pop-ups, limited-edition lager beers, and tours of the LandShark Brewery & Grill, the first inside an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, will also be included.

In addition to the usual gourmet food and beverage offerings included at the resort, beer-inspired food, and a special beer pairing menu will also be available. At St. Somewhere Spa, unique beer-infused treatments will be available.

This time, the host of the Caribbean Oktoberfest will be the new Margaritaville Island Reserve resort, located on Juanillo Beach in Cap Cana, an ideal setting to toast in paradise with a refreshing beer.

sad…. this is at a resort most ppl cannot afford to go to; so while your government seeks to exploit you remember Oktoberfest is about family and friend also….no need for marketing experts from other countries tell u otherwise

This is marketing done to bring a different type of enjoyment to people. That is welcome. However, the backdoor agenda is to advertise the resort and Cap Cana for free through social media posts and videos done by the participants.
