Pablo Ulloa launches book on inclusive well-being in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Dr. Pablo Ulloa outlined the challenges and opportunities facing the Dominican Republic in its pursuit of an inclusive development model during the launch of his book, For the Common Good: Towards a Welfare State for All. He emphasized the need for structural reforms to ensure social justice, equity, and sustainable progress for all citizens.

Ulloa stressed that well-being should not be a privilege but a fundamental right, achieved through equitable access to essential services like education, healthcare, housing, transportation, and employment. He argued that true development requires a balance between economic growth and social justice, calling for policies that directly address community needs.

Motivated by his commitment to a more just and equitable Dominican Republic, Ulloa hopes his book will inspire policymakers and citizens alike to work towards a nation where prosperity benefits everyone, not just a select few.
