First Lady meets with Princess Leonor aboard the Juan Sebastián de Elcano

Santo Domingo.- First Lady Raquel Arbaje met with Princess Leonor of Spain on Thursday during the princess’s visit to the Dominican Republic as part of her naval training aboard the Spanish training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano.

Arbaje described the encounter as both “close and enriching,” emphasizing the honor of receiving the future queen and the ship’s crew. She highlighted the experience of touring the historic vessel and connecting with its legacy of dedication and service.
