Miami, FL.- Arajet, the Dominican Republic’s flagship airline, joined the Miami Marlins to celebrate Dominican Heritage Day at LoanDepot Park, where more than 25,000 fans attended the game between the Marlins and the Toronto Blue Jays. The event honored Dominican culture and pride, with thousands of families waving national flags throughout the stadium.

Arajet CEO Víctor Pacheco Méndez took part in the festivities by throwing the ceremonial first pitch, symbolizing the Dominican presence on an international stage. The airline also brought the spirit of the Dominican Republic to Miami’s streets, engaging with the community and distributing tickets to encourage greater participation in the celebration.

Pacheco emphasized the importance of showcasing Dominican identity abroad, stating that “wherever there’s a Dominican, there’s joy, passion, and celebration.” With this sponsorship, Arajet—currently connecting the country with over 20 destinations—reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen cultural ties and highlight the Dominican diaspora worldwide.
