Unbeaten Dominicans top Brazil, reach Pan American Volleyball final

Lima, Peru.- Dominican Republic’s sextet Wednesday night defeated Brazil’s powerful squad three sets to two to advance to the 14th Pan American Volleyball Cup finals.

The Dominicans’ come-from-behind win came after having lost the first two sets 16-25 and 18-25 respectively, but then rallied and swept the next three sets (25-17, 25-16 and 15-10) in a the nearly 2- hour match.

The victory gives the Dominicans one of two berths as finalist in the event, and extend their undefeated run to five.
